With a very special thanks to the Evans building owner, Friends of Hale Cook is working on a short-term agreement to use space at 11 E. Gregory to support the next couple of months of our enrollment campaign. This space is fantastic – we will have room for all of our committee meeting and enrollment information sessions AND a separate room for children’s activities. There is also ample street parking around the building if you are not within walking distance. We hope to get the keys this weekend and that you will come visit us often in our temporary home!

We are looking for chairs and tables for our meeting space and child-appropriate furniture and games that can be used at the office space for the next couple of months. Even if you can only lend us something for a few weeks, we would appreciate your help filling this empty space. Let us know if you have anything you can loan to us for December or January!

Bring a friend and help us spread the word about enrollment which started on Monday for the 2014-2015 school year. As part of our effort to help you make an informed decision about where to send your child, we are offering a great schedule of information sessions to learn more. You are welcome to join us for any or ALL of these events – and please help us pass on this information to others who might be interested.

Julie Lynch, the Hale Cook Transition Coordinator, is available Monday mornings at Hartman Elementary School (8111 Oak Street) to receive your completed applications. Avoid the hassle of going downtown by visiting Julie next Monday with your completed forms!

Please note: for ALL of these meetings, we will be convening at the Friends of Hale Cook Office in the Evans Building (11 E. Gregory, Second Floor). Come visit us in this temporary space!
