We were all pretty excited last year when Google selected Kansas City to launch its Fiber program. Google Fiber will revolutionize the way we surf the web and watch TV: the ultra-high speed connection is 100 times faster than the average broadband hookup.

Now we are even more excited because the Ward Parkway North “fiberhood” has met its goal of preregistrations for Google Fiber, which means Hale Cook Elementary will get a Fiber connection for free. Imagine what such a fast connection would do in an educational setting!
